Keynote Speaker:  Alicia Morga, Founder & CEO, Consorte Media
As Hispanic print publishers face the new reality of a digital world, many are grappling with how to best take advantage of the burgeoning power of Hispanics online. In this keynote presentation, Alicia Morga, CEO of Consorte Media will give insightful tips and practical advice to publishers looking to implement a digital strategy. She'll start with a broad view of the Hispanic online advertising market -- and explain why the 20 million Hispanics online today are a highly coveted audience for advertisers. She'll explain why every Hispanic publisher needs an online site, steps to get one started if you don't have one already, and how to improve an existing site so that it garners top advertising rates. Alicia Morga has over a decade of experience successfully funding, building and leading innovative, high-growth media and technology companies. Prior to founding Consorte Media, Alicia was an investment professional focused on venture opportunities in the technology sector for The Carlyle Group's U.S. Venture Fund. She was previously an associate at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, where she focused on early-stage software investments. Alicia has served on the boards of technology companies such as Ingenio, Ventaso, Secure Elements, Archetype-Solutions, Applied Semantics, Menerva Technologies and Discovercast.
