From March 11 - 14, 2009 the National Association of Hispanic Publications will host the largest gathering of Hispanic print media in the United States. This year, our 24th Annual Convention & Expo will take place in McAllen, Texas at the McAllen Convention Center. We invite you to join us to network, to celebrate and grow your business relationships.
Over 170 member publications will be sending their owners, publishers, editors, circulation managers, journalists, salesmen and staff to network, share, learn, and participate in this special gathering of the Hispanic print media. Today NAHP member publications circulate approximately 10,000,000 copies each week reaching over half of the Hispanic households in the USA.
You’ll have access to the business managers and the key decision-makers from leading Hispanic publications. You’ll build relationships with editorial leaders whose coverage reaches Hispanic readers nationwide.

MOVE-IN: Exhibitor move-in will begin on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 1:00PM CENTRAL TIME and continue through Thursday, March 12, 2009 at twelve noon. The exhibits will open at 2:00PM CENTRAL TIME at the McAllen Convention Center. Exhibit hours will be as follows:
Thursday, March 12: 2:00PM to 5:00PM CT
Friday, March 13: 9:00AM to 4:00PM CT
COMMUNITY DAY: In addition to the traditional Business Expo on Thursday and Friday, NAHP is offering an additional exhibit day on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at no additional charge to national exhibitors. Community Day will offer local businesses and national exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their products and services to members of NAHP and to others in the local McAllen, Texas metropolitan area. Community Day show hours are 11:00AM to 5:00PM CENTRAL TIME.
National exhibitors who wish to exhibit on Community Day must notify NAHP no later than February 14, 2009 to secure space. You will be able to keep your original booth assignment if you contact us by the deadline. Your move-out date would be shifted to Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 5:00PM
MOVE-OUT:
For national exhibitors move-out begins on Friday afternoon at 4:00PM CT and continues through 7:00PM. All materials must be removed or clearly marked for shipment and removal from the exhibit hall no later than Friday, March 13, 2009 at 7:00PM CT.
Move-Out for Community Day exhibitors begins at 5:00PM CT and must be completed by 8:00PM CT on Saturday, March 14, 2009
DELIVERIES/FREIGHT HANDLING: The MCC does NOT accept any deliveries prior to the commencement of the contract term which is March 11, 2009. If Facility Contractor or Exhibitor is interested in shipping materials prior to the commencement of the contract, there is a $250 drayage fee. Exhibitor shipments and any shipments to be handled by the decorator should be shipped to their attention with the show name and booth number clearly written on the label. Shipments for meetings and other events without a decorator should be clearly labeled to the Facility Contractor show manager, with the show name and location in the building for which the shipment is assigned. You are required to notify your Event Coordinator of any delivery or pick-ups you are expecting. Deliveries need to go to the Security Desk, if they are not being handled at the dock. All deliveries will arrive on the loading dock and must be arranged through your Event Coordinator. Any deliveries that arrive before the contract date without information regarding their show will be refused. The shipper will be responsible for all associated costs. There may be a fee for items delivered to meeting rooms.
