The National Association of Hispanic Publications invites you to be a sponsor of our premier annual conference, 24th Annual NAHP Conference & Business Exposition.
This important event is scheduled for March 11-14, 2009 at the McAllen Convention Center in McAllen, Texas.
The one thing that is constant in the 21st century economy is change. Indeed, technological breakthroughs and globalization have forced structural change in the media and advertising communities on a global scale. The challenge is to make technology and globalization work for Hispanic media and advertisers, rather than
against it.
Cutting edge technologies are making it possible for citizen-driven media to compete on par with their urban counterparts. Innovations in communications, educational methods, healthcare, and many other areas are improving quality of life and productivity for those communities that embrace them. And the Internet is making global markets accessible to even the most isolated.
The 24th Annual NAHP Conference & Business Exposition will focus on specific technology advances, challenges and concerns that Hispanic publishing communities must explore in order to succeed in the innovation economy and achieve public and private sector growth. Participants will learn about the latest new technologies and will engage in discussions about the how communities can get ahead of- and capitalize on- constant change.
This year's conference will kick off with a Welcome Reception highlighting the past year’s successes and the new opportunities for Hispanic publications and media.
Day two will begin with a Publisher’s Roundtable discussion about the critical business issues impacting Hispanic publications, media and their advertisers, subscribers and readers. In the afternoon there will be several additional tracks led by key thought leaders in media, advertising and Hispanic publishing.
Participants will choose from various tracks and sessions throughout the conference including a special sales and marketing day curriculum.
