Membership Criteria & Categories
All publications editorially serving the Hispanic community for a
minimum of one year can be members of NAHP. There are three
categories of active members:
General Members
General Membership is for a publication that has been in
operation for at least one year, has a Hispanic Editor, has at least
51% or more of Hispanic employees, and is audited by a nationally
recognized circulation audit company. General Members are entitled
to voice, vote and to hold office.
Associate Members
Publications that do not meet the above requirements may apply
for Associate Membership. Associate Members are entitled to voice
and vote, but may not hold office.
Supporting Members
Supporting Members are entitled to voice, but may not vote nor
hold office.
A) Corporate Partners
A national or international corporations that supports Hispanic
Print and the mission of the National Association of Hispanic
Publications may join as a Corporate Partner.
B) Related Business
Related Business Membership is open to advertising agencies, news
agencies, public relations firms, print publication suppliers,
printers and other service providers to the Hispanic print media.
C) Individual Supporters
This category is open to “friends of NAHP” who support the
Hispanic print media. The Individual Supporter Membership is
open to journalists, authors, photographers, graphic artists,
designers, and marketing professionals, professors and students.
