The NAHP Procurement Committee is a collaborative effort between the NAHP, Alloy Access (the NAHP's official media placement representative) and member publications.
Its goal is to build advertising revenues for member publications by increasing the financial commitment of Fortune 500 companies, their advertising agencies, and national, state, and local governmental entities to Hispanic publications. Utilizing and promoting supplier diversity initiatives on behalf of member publications is an important component of this initiative. The committee also encourages member publications to become a certified minority-Hispanic-woman owned company.
The committee educates these stakeholders of the unique role and value proposition that Hispanic newspapers and magazines play in their local communities as compared to other media through one-one-one presentations and at NAHP events held throughout the year in the organization’s seven regions.
